Be The Difference® Day Celebration 2022

PDI Be the difference Day logotypeOver 700 PDI associates made an impact in their local communities by participating in a truly memorable Be The Difference® Day.

Our Woodcliff Lake headquarters atrium was flooded with countless donations of critical items, such as gently used clothing, non-perishable food, and pet supplies, which were donated to local organizations including Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refugee, Inc., Tri-Boro Food Pantry, and Center for Safety and Change.

Associates in our Orangeburg, NY, manufacturing plant assembled over 3,500 hygiene kits for the Rockland County, NY-based People to People organization, as well as for two Bergen County, NJ-based organizations, Tri-Boro Food Pantry and Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative.

Many members of our organization chose to clean up local parks and streets, plant gardens, visit animal shelters, and donate blood; while others joined a 5K walk benefiting St. Jude’s Research Center in Congers, NY.

In addition to the above contributions, PDI collectively raised over $16,000, which will be donated to local and national charities – a great achievement and one we accomplished together!

We also celebrated a new milestone for PDI’s history books. We kicked off the day with NJ State Senator Holly Schepisi who presented PDI with an official state proclamation at our Woodcliff Lake headquarters, formally recognizing June 18 as Be The Difference® Day. New Jersey now joins Rockland County, New York, marking our collective commitment to engage, support meaningfully, and give back to our communities.
